The paperback edition of Sir Bob Murray’s autobiography I’d Do It All Again is out this week, so we spoke to the man himself all about it.
The first edition came out in 2023 and there’s been quite a lot going on since then, so much so that Sir Bob has added a new chapter and epilogue to the latest edition of the book, for which all proceeds will once again be donated to the Foundation of Light.
We speak to Sir Bob about life back in the Premier League, our Europa League adventures, his feelings about Kyril Louis-Dreyfus and Sir Bob’s beginnings as Sunderland chairman 40 years ago.

Sir Bob will celebrate the paperback launch with two book signings in Sunderland on Thursday 5 November, the day of the Club’s next home Europa League match. He will be at Waterstones in The Bridges from 12.30pm, followed by the Fans Museum from 4.30pm, where he will be reunited with a familiar piece of Sunderland history – the original boardroom table from Roker Park, where he will sign copies of his book.
