Well, let’s be clear here, Burnley at home and Watford away – when in a Premier League survival scrap – should yield more than a solitary point. What it confirms, if anybody didn’t already know, is that there are 20 teams in the Premier League and Sunderland are the 20th best team.

Should they be?

Would another manager have got more out of this group of players than 20 points? It’s Wilkinson/McCarthy-esque and some of the Wise Men Say team have utterly and completely lost faith in David Moyes.
