Well, now, this game is huuuaage.
This summer will be a decade since they were promoted for their latest spell in the Premier League. Canny length of time that, in context. Previous seasons have seen fans call for relegation in order to freshen up and start again, but we’ve somehow stayed up anyway. This time, we feel like we’re ready (finally) to kick on a bit if we avoid the drop. These new players, this manager, it all points to progression.
But it’s looking a bit grim. Here’s a game at Norwich now that may well decide our fate. Nothing will be set in stone, of course but should we lose? Ne coming back from that lads and lasses.
But if we win? Game on.
Stephen Goldsmith and Michael Proctor discuss the fall-out of that Leicester defeat and talk about the task ahead of them at Carrow Road this weekend. They’re joined by Gary Gowers who is no doubt hoping The Canaries will fly clear of the Black Cats’ grasp – and of relegation worries for another year.
