Durham Times Column – 17/10/14 – International week interesting viewing for Sunderland fans

This week’s column comes from Stephen Goldsmith.

 

I HAVE to say, despite the nationwide scepticism, UEFA have made the international week slightly tolerable with the implementation of “a week of football”.

 

Don’t get me wrong, I’m an England fan and likely always will be, but the absence of Premier League football being available on my TV screen on a daily basis is irritating.

 

Even when there’s no live games, we’ll see something in the form of analysis or debate and during these breaks things run pretty dry in that respect.
