Durham Times Column – 11/9/14 – A point would be good enough for Sunderland

IT’S never pleasant to go into an international break on the back of a defeat. It’s been almost a fortnight since the loss at Loftus Road, but things feel slightly different than usual. There’s a calmness about things at Sunderland at the moment. Gus Poyet seems to have settled the club down. Our business in the transfer window has been well scrutinised. Having said that, so has everyone’s.
